Sorry you are having such awful symptoms. I also have a sliding hiatus hernia and get nausea and pain and acid reflux. I find it helpful to eat small amounts throughout the day, but sometimes it just happens, horrible.

I had nausea and diarrhoea on and off for a couple of years, gp thought anxiety related but elected to have scan which although no pain showed gallstones. Elected to have it out.
Since then stomach troubles just getting worse, was intermittent nausea and yellow diarrhoea. Settled a bit end of last year but still get acid feeling when waking so dr tried omeprazole, it spiked my anxiety i had to take diazepam so changed to zantac as by now acid was causing pain in back. Used to be able to control it with gaviscon but now if i use it its like swallowing acid. Did settle a bit with normal, bms for a while. But since zantac i have yellow bile diarrhoea and nausea daily and it has started up agitation too. Think i will have to stop it then it will be back to digestive acid i suppose.
is this GI dr or gallbladder dr i need, i am not sure, these medications as mentioned are just band aid,,not addressing main problem.
