Sorry to hear that you are suffering from this. When you say you have bloating it makes me think you may be allergic to some food. What is your diet like and are you overweight, as this can have some bearing on the sphincter? Some types of food will cause more acid. Also the times when you eat can be significant. Do you exercise?
I think you should try alternative means first as operations arn't always successful
and can give you more problems. Have you considered seeing a nutritionist to get help?
Obviously I can only give advice and hope this may be of some benefit for you.
Keep strong and don't stress. There is someone there who can help you.
kind regards,

Your action plan for the hiatus hernia is to reduce the symptoms of acid reflux and try and encourage your upwardly mobile stomach to stay where nature intended ie. below the diaphragm.
1 Better your digestion. Slow stomach emptying makes it more likely that the sphincter will relax and
allow gastric acids to go against gravity.
2 Deal with constipation. This can increase pressure on the stomach and abdomen.
3 Eat more dietary fibre.
4 Loosen your clothing.
5 Drink more water between meals
6 Watch out for acid forming foods.Deal with the acid reflux.
7Take some exercise
8 Check your posture
9 Strengthen those abs.
10 Breathe
11.Elevate the head of your bed
12 Lose weight
13Try a natural antacid (Silicea)
14 Quit smoking.
15 Look after your gall bladder and liver.
16 Deal with stress.
17 See a chiropracter or physiotherapist if you have spinal misalignment.
These tips are taken from the book GOOD GUT HEALING by Kathryn Marsden
It is a very useful book. You should be able to find it on Amazon.
If you are still struggling then get a second opinion.
