Slight bleeding after sex post hysterectomy

Hi

i had an hysterectomy beginning of March and due to other things going on whilst recovering me and my husband have only just had sex last night. 

I had a slight bleed afterwards there was a few blood marks on the bed sheet then when I went the toilet and wiped there was a very slight amount of blood.

I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else so long after having the operation. I'm obviously a little concerned and I've been getting a few period like pains also.

    Hi.  I had a vaginal hysterectomy at the end of February and I still get slight bleeding after sex.  

    I developed a haematoma post surgery and the doctor says that is The cause of the bleeding.  Hope this helps and you get your problem resolved soon

    I was told if I had any bleeding after sex to go to my doctors straight away

    They do say in the back pages of the bumph they send you home with from the hospital - the recovery leaflet - that you may have a little blood. But oviously if it is worrying you, go and have a quick chat with the Doc. You may need to leave it a little longer.
