Slight irritation on penis

I am currently experiencing a slight irritation on my penis upon contact on one point against the skin. The location of irritation is below the head and towards the right side. The irritation is minimal and feels like a slight sting, cut, or a hair being pulled when contact is made. No pain or irritation occurs when urinating, no rash or mis-coloration is visible, and no sores or cuts are present on or around the area. I am circumcised.

The irritation started to occur on 10/15 and is still present at the time of this writing, 10/28. Leading up to this I have not had any sexual pleasures with another person or used any other methods of sexual pleasure outside of what I normally do. Though I cannot recall exactly what occurred on the fifteenth when pleasuring myself, either by hand or by toy, the only lubricant I use is Bad Dragon's clear lube, which I have used many times in the past and have not had any reactions before. I am also very careful to properly clean myself and toys after use, so I am not entirely sure what is causing this irritation.

The irritation has not gotten any worse since the fifteenth and is not a major handicap in day to day activities. The only other detail I can think to provide is that when I become erect and am stimulating myself the irritation is much less noticeable, if not present at all during that time.

Currently I don't think it's anything to really worry about since it's nothing major and hasn't gotten any worse, nor do I see any visible or feel any symptoms that may indicate an infection or other more serious issues. Is this a symptom of something I do not know about or is this something that should go away with time? Any help with this issue would be most appreciated.

If there's nothing that looks different, I'm not sure what to suggest, and I suspect a doctor might be baffled too.  If you do see a doctor though, please let us know what they say.

It's normal to be less sensitive to pain when you're stimulated btw.

I have gone to the doctors and they have said it is most likely just a bit of hyper sensitivity. Since there are no visual symptoms to suggest anything like an infection or other conditions it is nothing to be concerned about.

Thanks for the update.  It sounds unusual, but good to hear a doctor thinks it's nothing to worry about.
