some pinkness can be normal due to washing with soaps and friction from.sex etc i would have said to leave that as it is as it dosnt look like anything severe at the moment as yeast would cause pain skin peeling.. spots and irritation

yeast is not an std u naturally have a small amount of yeast on the skin anyway its when it grows out of control that it cause problems so it can appear at any time usually it causes very sore red patches dry peeling skin bleeding and soreness i dont see anything that looks abnormal in your photo

Okay thank you Kim, put my mind at ease a little 😃 it is redder at certain parts of the day like more vibrant but I suppose that comes with normal irritation, its easy to get sucked in and obsessed with checking. Thanks for your advice

As Kim is getting at, most irritation is caused by the common things the skin of the penis is most frequently in contact with. Statistically the worst culprits are soap and shower gel and other forms of body wash. Then there can be washing powder or other treatments used to clean clothes, this can be particularly the case if the exposed head of your penis is in frequent contact with the inside underwear.

What often brings about change is when men try a new soap or shower gel, particularly scented soaps - or a change in washing powder or other clothes treatments has occurred ......

thanks for the insight dugie! appreciate you taking the time to reach out, i think general irritation is the case i visited a walk in centre was treated by a helpful nurse who found nothing in a urine sample and advised nothing sinister

The other thing is that colour variation can happen at different times in life, your penis will not have a constant appearance throughout your life. Your general health can impact on this and this can alter blood flow into the penis.

Most of us know about the impact of swimming in very cold water for example, the amount and regularity of vigorous exercise can also be an important factor as a further example - there are many things that can impact on colour and appearance variation .....

yeah thats true, i think it's when you're used to it looking a certain way and it changes it just causes worry sometimes, its still slightly red but no discomfort anymore so if this is how it will look then that's that!
