Slightly Questionable Blood Work and Afib

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hello!

I am posting for my husband who has been diagnosed with Afib. He had an otherwise clear heart work up but he does experience a lot of flutters and afib.

For the past 3 years, he has had elevated liver enzymes at 2.1. His A/G ratio is high at 2.4. And he has a vitamin D deficiency (despite supplements) and his reading for that was 22.

He mostly feels fine, other than the afib. Sometimes he has mild chest pain and pressure but has been assured by many cardiologists that it is just the afib and probably stress. He also has some fatigue.

He does take afib meds (flecanine, meteoprolol, eliquis) but nothing else.

He is 43 and weighs 145lbs, good diet and moderately active. Non smoker, no alcohol.

I think due to his blood work that he should see a liver specialist or get some kind of liver work up. What do you think? I also read there is a correlation between liver disease and afib.

Thank you!
