Last month I was diagnosed with oral LP. The periodontist has made impressions of my mouth and on Tuesday I get them. Prescription med to be put on plates 2X day. The recession and other issues in my mouth can’t be addressed until the LP is under control.
Talk to your doctor about Elidel. I used clobetesol cream at first, but no success (for genital LP).
Let me know how you are doing.
If you are in the Washington DC area I can give you the name of the specialist I used.

Thank you for your reply and advise Ellen. It's nice to hear there may be light at the end of the tunel. I am.seeing a speacialist vulval dermatologist in the uk. She jas advised there are other treatments available if the clobetesol doesn't help.Have you ever experienced any of the fluid filled blisters at all?

Sorry your having so much trouble finding the right medication for your vulva LP.
I have oral LP and vulva LP. The medication that works the best on my vulva LP is Clobetasol Ointment. (not the cream). It clears it up within days. Hopefully your OB/GYN will prescribe it for you.
Good luck.
