Hi All, since Decemberish last year I have had a small lump behind my ear and I get pain in my neck, next to the muscle near my pulse, its not always there but I feel it when it does turn up and it is a daily thing. sometimes I am aware of it more than others. I have been to the docs who didnt feel the lump was there but I know my ears and I know its there and It annoyed me he couldnt feel it. It gives me ear pain sometimes, deep in my ear. bit its my neck that hurts more. What could this be would anyone have an idea. Antibiotics and ear drops have not helped. I am currently being treated for 2 DVTs in my calf but have only recently since June been diagnosed with that. Any help please?? Thankyou peeps.

I get small lumps behind my ears (behind the earlobe) pretty often.  If I can get a handle on them, they squish and what appears to be white lymph or a thick white pus squirts out and it goes flat.  It does feel like a bit of an infection, but not enough to even bother the doc with it.  Not much help, I know, but at least there's other people out there with this strange little bit.  No neck pain to go along with that though.

I would ask to see ENT Specialist and an MRI scan too if you can. If your doctor won't refer see another doctor. All lumps should be investigated early.
