Small lump on inner thigh next to the groin

I've been driving myself crazy this last week over this. First of all the lump started out small, like a pimple, so I thought nothing of it and carried on. This was last week. Today I took notice of it whilst washing, and it's grown considerably since I noticed it. The image below is it now, and it could be nothing but I'm worried, which is why I'm posting here instead of going to my doctor.

Sorry for the poor image quality; any ideas what it is?
