Small lump on left testicle.

I have just noticed a small lump probably smaller than a grain of rice on my left testicle. I'm not sure how long it has been there as I don't really check, but I don't recall ever noticing it before. I'm not sure whether it's anything to worry about or get checked out or just an abnormality that has popped up?!

Any lump or any growth should be checked by a doctor. You don't want to prolong it because it may be nothing to worry about or it could be cancerous. Have you looked on the website regarding scrotum lumps or testicle abnormalities. I usually tell males to Man Up and go to a doctor. It can be embarrassing but if you can't tell the doctor write a note and give it to the doctor, or read it to the doctor. It helps alot.I have always written body functions down and read them to my doctor because sometimes I would forget to tell him what was wrong with me. I hope you will make an appointment with a doctor now

Yeh I did a Google search, I didn't really find much that was helpful. Just blanket statements about going to the doctor. So I guess I'll do that then. smile

Just another quick question, when I feel for it and my scrotum is not relaxed (aka it's cold) it's very difficult to find if I check in shower or when it's relaxed i can feel it straight away. How would the dr be able to find in the dr surgery if not relaxed?

Tell the doctor that you only feel it after you get out of the shower. The doctor needs details where it is and how to find it. I don't know if you wear warm clothing to the doctors office will help or not Or close fitting underwear. What my doctor does to feel my testicle is to have me laying down on a hospital bed or standing upright. Since I have very small testes, he said it is better to be laying flat, in order to check for any abnormalities.
