    Hey Keegan0173

1st off don't get hooked up on size as you're still growing and, at 14, will continue to do for some years yet.

You say you're not getting erections yet, which means the 1.5" you mention is when soft / flaccid and there is no relation between size when soft and when hard. Plenty of men are quite small when soft but quite large when erect...so don't worry about size soft.

Lack of erections...you might be getting them in sleep, unless you have a wet dream you're unlikely to remember having an erection when sleeping.

Some people start later in life and maybe yet you just haven't found things that arouse you. Have you tried making yourself hard by imagining things and then trying to masturbate? Might be worth a go, but don't worry if nothing happens yet.

I started quite early in life, younger than you, but I do recall a lot of friends didn't start until 14 or older. So what in trying to say there, again, is don't worry about lack of events at age.

Lots of issue can stop anyone gaining erections - ranging from physical issues to one's in the mind

You've been pretty savvy in asking here, not an easy thing even anonymously, but if things persist or you're really worried them I'd suggest going to see Dr. Believe me they won't make you feel embarrassed or anything like that as they'll have seen many many people like yourself plus they were your age once.

Really hope you get things sorted

    Cheers

    Marc

    Hi Keegan0173,

If you have pubic and underarm hair your hormones must be doing what they should. How tall are you and how low does your voice sound? Obviously that's another sign of manhood coming your way. I had a friend at school who had a high soprano voice till it changed at 18 years old. He didn't say, but he probably had a small penis till then. He was still quite short. I remember masturbating, getting hard and dry orgasms from about 9 years old. My first ejaculation was at 13. My voice wasn't manly till about 15 or 16. Every boy develops at different rates.

I am about 5.11 and have a farly low voice however not as low as some and am able to ejaculate by masturbating with a semi hard to flacid penis but now I have no feeling as if my nerves are damaged and I feel like I lost width to it as well

Over-masturbation is a very unclear concept! But yes, you will find that you feel less and ejaculate less the more frequently you masturbate. Desire is often higher at your age than the ability to fulfil it, as the body needs to rest and recuperate. A guide from my own experience (and remember we are all different) is that a gap of two or three days between masturbation sessions is ideal. It's also necessary if you want to conceive a child later as the testicles have time to produce more sperm. Semen, though, is produced mainly in the prostate and not the testicles and is a bit like spit from the mouth, and can be increased, as it is produced in the process of arousal, so the longer you make masturbation last without ejaculating, the more satisfying the orgasm and the more semen is shot out. I'm not sure why your erections aren't very hard. This depends on being relaxed, nerve triggers, desire, arousal but also blood supply. If you don't already, I suggest you try masturbating less often and for longer when you have a session.

      Hey pepasam,

I have been trying to do that however a few weeks ago I was masturbating up to 3 times aday and I am thinking my body may need a whill to recuperate. Is that possible? Should I go to a docters and ask them incase its something more sirious?

I knew a young man who said he masturbated five times a day (uncircumcised, I think) around your age without apparent ill effects. I suggest you try to give your body a rest, but you don't have to give up altogether. If, after say four weeks of easing up you still think there's something wrong, it may be worth telling your doctor, who can check your blood pressure etc.

Are your testicles growing from a small size to a larger size since you are growing body hair. I hope this is the case.

If not, your erections may not be as strong or long lasting. Having small testicles, could be abother problem.

When I was small, growing hair, my ejaculations were sometimes watery but other time not, but my testicles never grew larger than most teenagers. Even now, at age 66, my testicles are still small like a pre-teen. In my case, I have a genetic disorder, something I was born with, so my testicles never grew, because I did not get enough testosterone at puberty.

I hope that you don't have, what I have.

Also, I tried not to have an erection for a month, but by doing that, it can mess up your mind, because you will be constantly want to mastubate and you might worry you won't be able to get an erection once you start again.

But you are 14, now is not the time to worry about erections or anything. You are maturing, growing into a man. Don't be afraid. If you are really worried, ask any doctor. They know alot about sexual.problems with teen age boys. Every boy has some problems, so you are not the only one.

      You are not alone.

You are now getting help from the other men on this forum. Hope you continue to ask for help. Good luck

Masturbating three times a day at your age isn't that unusual, but have you never had hard erections?  Maybe you have unrealistic expectations of how hard it should be, especially since you seem to be able to masturbate to orgasm.  If you really think there's an issue though, then I'd consider seeing a doctor, as not getting hard erections at your age would be unusual.  You could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.  There are GUM clinics for under-25s, and they're not allowed to tell your parents you've been.  You don't even have to use your real name.  Sure it might not be easy at your age, but doctors have seen and heard much more embarrassing stories than yours.

As I often point out here, women have to lie on their backs with their legs in the air on a regular basis, while a stranger looks inside them with a speculum and flashlight, so we men have it easy.  There are way too many men who won't see a doctor till they absolutely have to, and it's something we need to change.

If you do see a doctor, then if you could update this thread and tell us what the they say, it would be appreciated, even if they tell you there's nothing to worry about.
