hi I was just wondering if getting a small red bump in the vulval area is common for LS? It tiny and just looks slightly larger and redder than a normal hair follicle

I think so. I am not as educated as everyone else and I am just newly diagnosed but I had one and now using the clob it is gone.

Our skin is vulnerable to small and large cysts, boils, pimples, etc. It's crappy skin. When bad, the whole front area on me can be sort of itchy, red gooseflesh. And I've had many a huge painful boil, and everything in between.

I have had one of those,i had a vulva irritation for a few months,i also have possibly a mild case of LS. My doctor with mine said it was pigmentation from healing tissue. You might want to have it checked if its there for awhile. Probably normal though.

Yeah they normally only last a day or two and I put clob on them, but I have them pop up randomly. But this one I had some itching in the area and then noticed it so that concerned me abit

Hi, I also have these small lumps pop up randomly. In fact I have one at the moment.. It's quite itchy but Ive been trying to resist the urge to itch by applying clob twice a day and using either Perrins or coconut oil a few times a day in between. Such a nuisance as Its been really settled for ages.. I have had an overload of sugary treats over Christmas so maybe it's that. Hopefully things will already have calmed down for you by now Jessica

Hi yeah it must be elated to stress and diet as I have been suffering with anxiety the past few months and had a flare up, when I have been settled for a while as well. It seems to be calming  down now, no more red bumps that I've noticed

Hi, in my experience it is better to get things checked out by your GP or specialist. Better safe than sorry. Good luck x

That's actually how I got diagnosed I got a bump that rapidly got bigger and they did biopsy because they thought it was cancer thats when they found I had lichen sclerosus I would do in and get it checked if it changes

yeti yeah I will go to a doctor if I get anymore that don't go for a while, but they generally only tend to last for a day or two
