At first, I noticed them on my boyfriend. his bumps are larger now by the way. they are pretty firm and painless. not much itching either so I don't think it could be an STI. I also have another similar but less red one on my forearm. anyone got any ideas about what it is, whether its treatable and if I can reduce symptoms. THANKS GIES

A pic of just one spot isnt really enough. Can you post more pics of yours and your boyfriends spots.
Have you both had chicken pox?
Do the spots have a tiny dimple in the centre?

Dark is thinking the same as me......if they have a little dimple in the middle they are Molluscum. Caused by a virus and will get better on their own. They are not an STI but are often spread by sexual contact. Dont pick at them .

looks like mulluscum contagiosum. it will clear up on its own.
