could this be a sign of herpes? sexually active with one monogamous partner only and no prior history of sti (last tested half a year ago), no itching or burning sensation. tried to pop one (bad idea i know) and only blood came out

Could just be folliculitis, but I'd get them checked out if I were you. You could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.
