hi Paula - if in "Burning Smells" you mean cigarette smell, then yes, i did experience that off & on for awhile - it was weird - i do remember with both my pregnancies my sense of smell was off the charts & i couldnt be around anyone wearing perfume, smoking or drinking - i guess its just a hormone thing -

Hi Paula! Yes, I get this quite often. I smell burning, cigarettes and sometimes almost a trash smell. I have woken my husband up plenty of times thinking there was a fire or something in the house. It comes and goes, but I started it when I entered perimenopause. Please tell your friend she isn't alone. This can cause some crazy symptoms!

Yes. I have smelled a burning cigarette smell off and on. Sometimes it will last for a week or two and then go away for a few months and come back. I have also had several episodes of smelling a gas/car exhaust smell. I am post menopausal and thankfully this symptom seems to have gone away.
