I had a total hysterectomy on 22 Nd sept 2014

They found my uterus was stuck to my bowel and sorted that out but also they found stitchEs in me they said they never seen the material used and that these had cause cuts inside me they also sorted that out, the last operation I had was 17 yrs ago in the uk so these had been there that long, they also didn't understand why they never noticed my uterus stuck to my bowel, anyway I came out of hospital 3 days later I have tried to do the exercises but the pain after is so bad, I can hardly walk, my bowels were like clock work before now Everytime I go to the toilet for either. It's not a full wee or bowel movement and I am back and forth and the pain is so bad. I went to the doctors and called the hospital and I am either being told well its only 3/4 weeks give it time, or the hospital say go to your doctor again and the doctors say go to accident and emergency if it's too bad, it's getting me down so much I'm feeling so sad and crying and feel alone I just feel like I'm a burden and wish I wasn't here. Normally I'm a strong funny happy person now I'm miserable :-(

If you feel this way don't be fobbed off... You know your own body and even though early days, if you don't feel much better go back to the hospital to the Gynacologist... It does take time for everything to heal - and everyone heals differently.
