So depressed & worried about my digestive issues

Hey Guys,

I've been suffering with digestive issues for months. I get gas & bloating, indigestion, upset stomach etc. I was doing a bit better over the past month or so until today. woke up with abdominal cramping, went to the toilet 3 times....all loose stool. It stopped after the 3rd time but my stomach feels tender. I'm doing an ultrasound tomorrow and I'm scared. I just want this to go away. I dont think i ate anything strange that could trigger it. It just happened out of nowhere and thats what worries me...that at any given moment i could have a flare up....even when i start to think i'm doing better. It gives me anxiety. Anyone in the same situation? How do you cope?

you may have irritable bowel syndrome           and possible  food allergies so I would see about a change in your diet from a specialist.

Your symptoms might be IBS.  Did you have the stomach emptying test to rule out a lazy stomach?

Could be IBS or maybe gastritis/duodenitis. I will talk to my doctor about the stomach emptying test. I need to make a list of tests so that I can do a process of elimination.

For 4 months I've had alsorts of tests done and nothing I'm getting random upset stomachs all the time I can't nail it down to anything.I've began burping all the time but that could be due to ppis I'm guessing the worrying is making stomach issues worst.

So sorry you are going through a hard time. I am too. Yes, the worrying certainly does not help.

      What did your doctor say?
