So fed up

Hi I had my 4th zoladex injection 3 weeks ago. I started with headache beforehand but just a jiggly one but now into fourth week with debilitating headache. Not been able to go to work. Worse when I move around. Been to go many times and lots of different tablets.  Now been on propanalol for 5 days no relief.  A lot of pain in neck, round head and left eye.  Now been referred for urgent ct head scan (well referred 5days ago still heard nothing).

i have never experienced so much pain and feel terrible.  I have been tempted to go to a&e but just cannot face it.  I am trying to wait for Monday to see gp again.

has anyone else had this? I am on list for hysterectomy within next couple of months but no one can say headaches are due to zoladex.  Desperate and so fed up.

I had exactly the same happen. The worst headache I've ever suffered a week after having injection. Neck was so painful I couldn't move head plus migraine. I refused the second injection and just risked it until my hysterectomy. I'm sorry you're suffering too. Hopefully it your op not too far off

Thank you.  I have had 4 injections so wonder if it is a build up.  I have my pre med on 6 Jan and then on list for short notice so think will risk not having next injection.  Would not mi pond but had no stomach pain for last few months but after these headaches would rather have stomach pain!

Have never had a constant headache for this long though.

Do you have endo? It took 2 months for my endo pain or a period for that matter to return after just one injection of zoladex. The headache was far worse than the endo pain ever was I literally cried for 4 days. Hope the op goes well

I have not had endo diagnosed but think I do have it.  Terrible but cannot wait for op.  I have just been reading that progesterone cream could help?

I had a lap to investigate then zoladex then hysterectomy and oophorectomy when endo diagnosed. I'm not sure about progesterone as not needed once have op. I had investigation a year ago and op in May so all happened quite quick
