So interesting 🤔

Hi ?

I was diagnosed in February 2014 and started on 15mg Prednisolone. I have been up and down with the dosage, got to 4mg in December but felt rotten so am now back up to 10mg ...still feel rotten and take the odd Naproxen which helps a lot. Am waiting for blood results next week. I reduced by alternating daily 10/9mg one month ...9mg one month then 9/8mg next month...8mg one month etc

Has anyone else tried this or do you think the Zero Prednisone method would work with Prednisolone as well ??

I am so lucky to have the rheumy I have. Saw her end of August and I just reduced to 7.  She said it would not bother her if I was still on 7 when I see her in April. Had lab work end of September and she emailed me to go back up to 8 due to high markers.  October blood work good emailed me to go back to 7.  Had to go back to 8 once since  then 7 1/2 now at 7 for past 5 weeks.  All going well so feb 1 will go to 6.5. Might add I’ve had pmr 12 years and only totally off for a short period about 5 years ago.    Good luck but do reduce slowly.
