So many aches & pains, so sick of feeling off

I am 48 and have so many aches and pains. I have a fairly physical and mentally draining job which I love but by the time I get home I'm ready for bed. I feel fatigued moat of the time, my neck is always stiff and sore, I have BMS, ringing in my ears and I have had back pain and am wondering if my kidneys are playing up. I went to the toilet as soon as I woke up and noticed my urine was a bit bubbly. It's the first time its happened so don't want to be running to the doc as they probably already think I'm a hypocondriac. I have pain in my side, not exactly in my kidney area but it just aches slightly every now and then. I've had this on and off for a few years now. Sorry for the whinge but I'm just wondering if any other ladies have had this

It's just awful isn't it?! My mental health has been pretty good lately but now I'm concerned I have something wrong with my kidneys. I was having weird feelings in my head also but that has eased lately, no doubt it will return though. I do hope you are coping and feel better soon. thanks so much for your reply

So sorry you are going through this. Yes the neck, yes the ears. A couple of things you might want to consider are cervical degeneration -- common as one ages -- and temporomandibular joint disorder, especially if you grind your teeth or clench a lot (you can clench unknowingly in your sleep as well). During this peri phase our anxiety sometimes goes into overdrive which can lead to such clenching and stiff muscles. Perhaps try neck stretches, don't sit for too long a period of time, and adjust the way you sleep (consider sleeping on your back, and even try a lower pillow). Also try relaxation practices like meditation (there are even free phone apps you can download). I know having to even go through all this at all in the first place is a drag, but hang in there, you're not alone X

yes I think I tense up a lot due to stress/anxiety. I need to learn how to relax, easier said than done though. Thank you

Hi Kim, my pain is on my right side, I went to the doc and he said most likely muscle strain. I do have stomach issues, one minute I am constipated and the next I'm racing to the Loo. I also get reflux/ heartburn. Funny you ask about the burning sensation. My legs feel quite warm sometimes, like they are heating up

i know the feeling. I am having terrible back pains. The lower back is killing me to my hips, yesterday was hell for me. My back pains are debilitating i never had this feeling in my life. i am on bed cannot sleep, hoping that tomorrow is s better day. we just have to role with the punches, that's what I've learned.

Hi Hope, I did see a doc and had urine tested and bloods done. All came back good. Some nights I get very little sleep, it surprises me how well I can function on such little sleep. Sorry you are also suffering.

Maybe you have a urinary tract infection. i went to the dr 2 yrs ago, my pee was off i was worried, did test and it came back as that. my dr recommended cranberry juice a natural cure. it was cleared up within 5 days. I also have pains on my sides back hips . Try cranberry juice, if you don't see charge give your dr a visit. God bless

I am so sorry that you are going through this! I have the lower backpain as well. It started a few months ago. Some days it hurts so bad that it literally takes my breath away. I always loved walking, but now I walk a few times around the block and my back starts killing me. The pain radiates into my hips and sometimes all the way down my legs.
