So sad :(

I had my first outbreak a month ago and since then I was good until today.

Three days ago I had sex since my first outbreak and today I started to feel a burning sensation on my genital I'm just hoping it's not another OB coming.

Is this going to happens everytime I have sex?

Is there anything I could do to prevent an outbreak after sex?

Any advice?

I have type 1 by the way.

Could be a sign of a pending outbreak, but maybe not. Sex can be a trigger for some. Make sure you keep things well lubed. Others say this helps. If it becomes an outbreak and you notice a pattern even with lube, plus if you are having sex regularly, you may consider daily suppressive therapy.

I'm sorry. I had my first outbreak a month ago and am still not back to a 100%, but no more blisters. Do you take Valtrex daily?

      Thank you,

No I only took valacyclovir for the first week of my first outbreak but I stop since I wanted to see if my body would be find without taking it daily but after what I'm feeling today I'm going to start taking it again.
