I have just had a telephone call to tell me the chest speacialist has been on a extended holiday so I have to wait to the 14th May I just don't know where I'm going from here 😂

    I am strictly National Health, and fortunately the UCH, London are generally very good. I suppose private health care gives you easier access to medics though. (although your story doesn't inspire confidence!) The one gripe I have about UCH is that it's virtually impossible to contact them outside of the nornal appointment system. I expect this is the case all over the country though with the NHS struggling to maintain standards under impossible financial constraints.

      I'm only going private because it's going to take a least another 8 weeks before I see any body no disrespects to the nhs

      I thought you were seeing someone on 14th May which is only 2 weeks away not 8 weeks?

      Are you still breathless? Do you feel there should be more mucus?

      Charles it's the private consultant I see on the 14 th may yeah I'm still breathless.but still not a lot of mucus I'm baffled
