So terrified of upcoming laproscopy

Hi everyone. I am so terrified and extremely anxious and scared about my upcoming laproscopy in 2 days to remove a complex cyst and endonetriosis. I have been meditating and even went away to a relaxing place for a few days but still so scared. I am vomiting and my heart is beating so fast from fear and problem is that specialist told me not to take any medication or herbal products for 7 days prior to operation and no alcohol 48 hrs prior to operation. I cannot take even a glass of wine to calm down or herbal remedies to alleviate my fear and unable to rest or sleep. I am worried about getting sick prior to my operation due to stress and lack of sleep. My fear stems from never having done a major operation, the fact that I have always been an exceptionally slow healer and I do not seem to tolerate strong pain killers. I am also a very active person and love hiking and exercise and feel so stressed out thinking I might not be able to move easily for many weeks or even longer. The specialust said that if I am usually a slow healer then to expect my recoveey to be sliw which caused further fear, stress and anxiety. I am really not sure what to do. Thank you
