Hi Ladies!

This past week and a half or so I have been battling with flu-like symptoms, anxiety and heartburn. I am so tired of these crazy symptoms but to top it off, I get hit just about every day with dragging fatigue. I feel like I'm twenty years older than my current age. It's frustrating! Ugh!

    Hello,

Sorry you're having such a tough time. For the heartburn have you tried cutting gluten? I started to have heartburn out of the blue about six months ago. Someone suggested stopping gluten (easier said than done) but I probably cut back on about 90% of my gluten consumption and the heartburn has completely and immediately resolved

For the fatige have you tried vitamin D3? Thats done wonders for me.

Yes I take vitamin D3, not consistently though. I get the heartburn outbreaks on the odd occasion it's not constant but bothersome enough to mention. I find that I get these heartburn episodes around ovulation time. My doctor just put me on a new medicine so that could have triggered it as well.

Just read this, im going to doctors tomorrow with exact same symptoms, fatigue, nausea, vision problems, new glasses not making any difference, Severe anxiety, dont want to go out and getting dizzy attacks too, not to mention the dreadfull aching all over . ive said this and i say it again, no women should have to work feeling like this, can you imagine if the male members of parliment felt like we do every day.  I think there would be  alot more sympathy.  ( dont know why this has all turned italics by the way!)

Yes I've always felt like we should be able to take personal days or extended leaves or even be eligible for disability during this time.

I've been terminated from jobs because of my periods. When I was younger I had horrible periods. I would have diarrhea, vomiting, massively painful cramps. If I had plans to go anywhere I had to cancel and if I was out and period started I had suddenly leave. It disrupted my life. Everyone who knew my situation was aware that if I couldn't make it to something that it was that. It was do embarrassing. Now that I'm in peri I don't periods like that anymore but my peri symptoms are intense too.
