    Hi.

when u see UR dr. Ask for referals in UR area for addiction . There r many meds hat help take the edge off the cravings down a few ketches. U really r in charge here. U must want to quit no matter what.

plz seek out professional help. Ther r many techniques catered to the individual to help u quit drinking.

no one wants to live in the shame and pain u do . It's a vicious circle . Once the brain has the addiction in the mind , this drug is a mind altering drug and can create cravings and the need to drink and undermine all UR efforts to stop.

For that reason there r many great techniques and specialists to help u with UR particular cravings . To find the root problems why u drink .

See ee the many links below on referals to help and techniques as well as the many drugs not addictive to help curve the cravings.

    Good Luck

    Merry Xmass

There r to many others in UR life that depend on u. My husband was killed by a drunk driver. I'm glad to hear hat u accept and understand how serious this drug effects the brain and u need to see a specialist right away to help you deal with the cravings. A kickstart so to speak. UR daughter  deserves a sober father for the Holidays and the rest of ER life. Se needs you guidance to gow uo and have a successful life. U don't want her to suffer and go down the same road as u. That is the farthest thing y would ever want to teach her.

      Another life lost to alcohol,dependency.

It's a tough decision, one that is necessary for you and UR family. I will do anything to encourage you to seek professional help.

Search alcohol addiction on this site there r many here to help you and many ideas to help you thru this difficult time.

Give UR daughter a gift of sobriety for Xmass. It the best gift for u and UR family.

      LIFE IS A GIFT !

You're doing really well and with no medication either. Didn't your doctor suggest any medication to help reduce some of the cravings. As Hope says there are several drugs which can help. Ask your GP about medication to help you. Good luck

Your liver has amazing powers of healing if you give it chance by staying off alcohol. Keep going! You are doing brilliantly!
