social anxiety

I have been silently dealing with my anxiety, totally unaware until this year that I had it, I'm still confused about it, I don't want to tell my mum or doctors, I feel embrassed, people might not believe me or they'll tell me in over reacting or I'm probabaly just shy but I can not cope with the bullies anymore , some are my friends & they think it's just a joke to make fun out of my appearance but they do not help, they add onto the other verbal comments, I get reminded everyday how ugly I am yet no one dare calls it bullying but I know it is, it makes me feel so useless & weak but my mum brought me up to be the opposite, help is what I need but I'm too afraid to ask for it.the last thing I want is to cause a fuss

Asking for help is not causing a fuss. You shouldn’t have to endure bullying. People who do that don’t feel good about themselves because it gives them a false sense of superiority, when in fact they are cowards.
Please don’t be embarrassed about asking for help. You are a very valuable person who has so much to offer this world. You deserve some help and guidance. .
I know one thing. The older you get the less this will happen. Not sure your age, but one day you will look back and be so glad that you didn’t turn out like them!!
Thats a guarantee.
I get the impression That you are a wonderful kind person
Talk to your mum about speaking to a counselor about this. He or she can really help you! And your school should have a counselor also.
Remember, anything that you tell a counselor is completely private by law and cannot be shared with anyone. They see this every single day and know how to help you. It really feels good to vent to someone and get some input about this and guidance.
Dont ever change who you are because you will go far in life. Just need some help in dealing with this issue you are struggling with.
This is temporary and as hard as it is now, it’s a small snippet of your life. Look and plan for your future. Great things to come 😁👍??

my dad was a high ranking official in the military. he was even with the united nations for a while. my parents always expected me to be tough; and tough i was. still am i guess if the situation requires it. but it doesn't mean i don't have anxiety though. i've been dealing with it for 8 years. there's nothing wrong with having anxiety. more and more people have it, cause we're more sensitive to things. pls speak to a professional so you dont have to endure this alone. the sooner you speak to someone, the quicker you'll learn ways to manage your anxiety, and the faster you can take it into your stride. hope this helps.

There is no reason to feel embarrassed. it is an illness, you get it treated. If you are having problems at work that may also need to be addressed
Please talk to your GP he will hopefully arrange some treatment to addreds your problems
Try Mindfulness a Relaxation Technique
