Hello
I have suffered from HS for 20 years and im at stage 3,I have read about the pain and suffering on this site,I would like to mention the social side of things.
I feel that because HS is not visilby noticable that people assume your OK and I feel that the Lepers bell I hear in my own mind is the worst thing.
it appears to be small things.like picking reseraunts some people look at the menu, some people look at the prices and I look at the seat coverings and wonder if my dressings would bleed or have they bled is there a stain on my trousers is there a mark on the chair,is there an odour of me and so on.
some times in the morning there is that few seconds when you wake before the pain starts that you forget the lepers bell and those few seconds are blisssful, then you move to turn off the alarm bell and the pain kicks in.
the alarm bell stops and the lepers bell begins another day.

Here is the short version. was 100% disabled father of 5. Had surgery in Jan of 2012 removing everythng under my arms. Had it in scrotum and legs as well, but left that alone. 9 months of recovery and still had it in my lower extremities. In September of 2013 I started taking Apple Cider Vinegar pills on a whim when my brother had some sitting on the counter. Within 2 weeks my lesions in my legs started to dry out. I take it in pill form 2 in the am and 2 in the pm. I dont know if this was my majic bullet, but I won't stop taking them. I have only had an ocassional minor boil since, and I pop those, and they don't return. I try and eat as few carbs as possible, but don't abstain from too much. I believe my HS was caused by yeast or just poor gut health. I am happy to say, I am 100% health today. If you try it give it at least a month. Also, if you do it in liqid form make sure it is unpastureized. Hang in there!
