SOFT ERECTION (after hernia Op)

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hello everyone.

I had an inguinal hernia operation about 7 years ago.

The first 2-ish years, I guess I put up with some after surgery pain. It was my first surgery so I figured I'd have to deal with it along with any other problems (like maintaining an erection)..

FAST FORWARD

Present day - Pain still over scar site. Had O/S etc, last option left is doing further surgery. I am choosing to live with that pain.

MAIN CONCERN NOW

I have found it harder to "keep" an erection. It was never a problem before this surgery. It is never as hard as it was and It doesn't last long. It's not physiological, we have explored everything like that.

The last specialist I saw 2 weeks ago (see attached pics from Dr.)

PICS

- Show the scar/hernia repair.

- In my most "erect" state. I would manage to get hard for only brief moments, before going in the semi hard state.. it repeats.

He does not want me on any meds like V due to my age. Thats all I believe I need..

I think thats bullshit. He wants to do further tests which cost a lot of money I don't have and "go from there".. Despite me being brutally honest, him knowing I can't get 'really hard' but can ejacualte at a flaccid state, why does this require more testing?

Injections etc? No thanks...

Is there problems with V etc I am unaware of?

IS THIS RELATED TO MY HERNIA OP??

I don't care about the pain, I literally just want to know why I have never been the same..

Any help would be great, because I am not going back to the specialist.

In the UK, it is possible to buy a product called Viagra Connect without prescription. I see you are circumcised, so I'm guessing you are in the US. Maybe there's a similar service at your Drug Store / Pharmacy?

Hi Pepasan, I have never heard of that product. I'm from Australia, I quickly googled it and first thing comes up with how the UK have allowed this and we are "considering" it.... I cant and don't want this to be a dependance thing, but damn, this is s**t.. Thanks for your reply and help anyway, mate.

PS is no one circumcised in the UK? I didn't even think of that lol

Sorry - I didn't think circumcision was done much in Australia. It's rare in UK, and as far as I know never done as a routine in the NHS, only if there are medical issues. It is legal and done outside NHS by religious families / organisations. Personally I think it should be banned for minors until they can consent for themselves.

Get a second opinion. I don’t think there’s an age limit for Viagra, unless you have a specific contraindication. I need it (well, Cialis anyway) as I have hormonal issues. Best move I made, changed my sex life so much. Seriously, get that second opinion, preferably from a urologist

Hi Chrisby, no I never heard of an age limit so I was assuming I was missing something. Lack of watching the news, who knows whats up.. But yeah, after your message, I'm simply going to have to fork up money and go to another.. He is a urologist from the Hospital where I got my surgery done.

I have seen a GP --> and him twice. You are where I want to be at, so hope I can get there.

      Thanks for the reply, mate.
