Soft foamy diarrhoea with bright yellow colour

Hey guys - 1 am 53 and have had gut related issues for about 7 years now. I suspect that my Diabetes Type-2 meds Metformin (glumetza actually) to be the culprit because i have runny foamy (greasy) foul smelling diarrhea most of the time. Occasionally ill have a regular movement but 3-4 days later it changes to starting firm and ending foamy. it also gives a bright yellow colour to the bowl - almost neon like. mild cramping but no deep ache or pain, however a few trips to the wash room (usually happens between 9 am and noon) and i am exhausted. Going for a complete blood, stool, urinalysis tomorrow. Has anyone had similar issues of ongoing IBS that may have been diagnosed due to meds? thanks,

Aj
