Penis/scrotum started itching a lot and when I checked I found out that there were little bumps on the scrotum and a soft squishy lump on the penis. I've never had any sexual contact.

You have two separate issues here - most likely a skin reaction causing the irritation, bumps and itching.

    And the soft lump.

Lumps like this are most often linked to masturbation - ease back or abstain from masturbation for a few weeks to help it fade away.

Skin irritation is most likely caused by something contacting the skin that you have not used before, such as a shower gel, soap or perhaps even what your clothes are washed in.

First check whether any of these items you have changed from your normal ones you have previously used, the soap, any form of body wash, and what your clothes are washed in, such as soap powder or any additives added to the wash for your clothes ...... ?

Try not to scratch this will make it worse and create more bumps ....

If these are getting worse you would be best to see a medical professional such as your own doctor / GP or contact any sexual health service

I have booked an appointment with the GP but they have given it 2 weeks later. So I was looking for info quicker.

I have nothing further to add other than what is in my first response to you.

I did ask you a several questions which you have given no response to ...

sorry if I have not replied to any of your questions. I am on mobile and sometimes replies don't show up straight away. in relation to your questions - I don't masturbate frequently and soaps/gels I also have not changed in a few months. Could it be because of the groin area not being dry properly when talking a shower/bath?

      thanks for your help+time

also as you said about not scratching it, I wrapped some cotton around. This prevents it from coming into contact with my trousers and helps lessen the itching. But what I did notice that whenever I take of the cotton it has some yellow stain on it which seems to be coming from right underneath the corona. If you lift it you can see some fluid but no spots?

Thank you - you are the first one ever to recognise that when I try to help people on here this costs my time - and obviously this is time I could devote to doing other things!

So the situation you are in could be described as a process of elimination - the more that you take out of the equation that could be causing, or adding to the problem, the more likely you are to remove what has caused the problem, or problems.

So yes, you need to spend time making sure your groin region is completely dry after a bath / shower.

With what you have on your scrotum this is likely caused by irritation, the common thing that sets off something like this is when a change in something like soap, shower gel, soap powder or other clothes washing additives has taken place.

Certainly, if you have anything else going on, such as the regular presence of moisture in the groin and genital region, this could have added to the problem.

You mention contact with trousers, are you wearing any underwear usually?

yes I do wear it usually but I believe it got worse when I didnt have it wrapped up. I prevented anything from touching the spots for 3 days and so far the itching has stopped and the redness seems to have gone down as well. But the spots themselves seem to have grown even though there is now almost no itching/redness+inflamation.

Just to check on this one: you have no spots similar to what you have on your scrotum elsewhere on your body? Or even just the itching anywhere else?

Did you check to see whether what your clothes are washed with, including the main powder or treatment, and any additives also added to your clothes wash?

There are several conditions that can cause the spots - the most common one is Molluscum contagiosum - you need to take the precaution of not sharing a towel with anyone else ....
