Soft lump/swelling/mass outside vagina

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hiya I've had this lump/swelling for quite a long time. I went to see a Dr and she said it's not a bartholin cyst. Then what do you think it is? Do I need to see a skin specialist? There's no pain, no abnormality inside the vagina but yes I've got!thick creamy/mild yellowish odorless discharge. It's really soft and painless. I've been taking sitzbath.

Here's the another picture. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Let's see. By the way, do you guys think it's a bartholin cyst? Or something else? image

The discharge is absolutely normal ,but I can understand your distress at having this lump. I think it may be just an overgrown labia. Can your doctor refer you to a gynaecologist ? It could probably be reduced by surgery.

I don't know what is it. Do you know what causes overgrown labia? I stretched vag lips and there's no cyst inside. Please have a look. And let me know if you can see anything.

What has your doctor said regarding the swelling?

She said it's might be a cyst or swelling she said she will take a swab on Monday. But the reason why I posted the pictures on here is that what do you think what is it any guess? Do you think it's a bartholin cyst? Because I've never had this problem or anyone in my family so I don't know what it looks like.

I wonder if its a lipoma. ie a type of cyst but its composed of fat cells. All women have a lot of fatty tissue in their pelvic and genital region and this could be a possibility. Dont worry they are totally harmless.

If it's a lipoma, does it come back after surgery? Can I get rid of it after surgery? And how does it treat?

    Please reply

I went to see a Dr at my gp. She said it's overgrown labia and referred me to a plastic surgeon. I'm going to make appointment in the morning
