soft tissue damage

I had a fall 4 weeks ago when someone accdently bumped into me. I fell on my left hip. Nothing was broken and the doctor said it was soft tissue injury. Amost two years ago I fell and had a pubic rami fracture on that same side but it healed perfectly with no complications in 6 weeks and I was able to do everything I did before, dance etc . This latest inury is taking more time and my leg is stiff and sore and hurts in the same place where I did the pubic rami fracture. I am doing exercises by lifting up the leg whilst lying down and at first it is stiff but the more I try the easer it gets to lift but the leg hurts slghtly to do so and in that pubic rami area. I am having a MRI scan to see what has happened. I can walk ok unaided and am not on painkillers but the more I walk the stiffer the leg beccomes and the more it aches. When sit down its perfect. Any ideas? I want to go back to my dance class and am not in the sort of pain that requires painkillers but if I am to dance again then I may need a painkiller becase the more use I make of the leg the more it feels stiff and sore. I just dance for exercise really. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for replying. In short my MRI scan is tomorrow (Tuesday). I only needed crutches for the first two days. I have been doing leg exercises and that is helping. Walking was ok but the more I walked the stiffer I got in the leg but that is less now and I stopped taking painkllers (co-codamol) 9 days ago because I do not need them anymore and don't need any sort of painkillers either. I still get twinges every now and then in that pubic rami area where I had my fracture 18 months ago so the scan will hopefully show what that is all about. I know I am not 100% yet as I cannot run and cannot bend down quickly to pick things up off the floor but if I do it slowly I can do it but I do have a grabber which I needed for my pubic rami fracture as I could not bend at all then, but so far I have not needed to use it. I am in the UK by the way. I do not need a stick (cane) to help me walk but I am very careful of other people who run and may bump into me (that is how I had this injury)
