A great post from you, John - such a morale boost for all those still battling. I've been in remission for 12 months now after 5 and a half years on steroids (6 and a half taking into account a year of non-diagnosis, and there is never a day that I wake up without feeling blessed to be pain-free. Congratulations and well done, and I wish you all the best for the future. I join you in sending all good wishes to everyone still struggling - you will get better.

Congratulations Mrs O and John who I only know from this latest post. So glad that you are off Prednisolone at last . I, too, will be off it soon, as I am just recuperating from spinal surgery. I came home on Friday and must take it easy for six weeks and longer for full recovery. What I thought was PM, was in the main 'spinalStenosis' and the surgeon has done a nerve Decompression at the lumbar level. It will be a wonderful thing for me to be hopefully free of pain after eight years. All the very best to you- it made such a difference hearing from you.

    Hi Cosima and thank you

Welcome home from hospital and I hope you will soon make a complete recovery from both the spinal surgery and PMR. Hopefully we will have lots more warm summer weather for you to enjoy whilst you recuperate. All good wishes.

Good to hear John - and sort of good to hear Cosima! It not being PMR is nice but the alternative with spinal surgery is dubiously good news! All the best for the future for both of you.
