I have been dwelling on the fact that i may have herpes.. and right now, im even more convinced.. i checked my vaginal area, everything looked ok, until I pulled the skin all the way down by my vaginal opening.. there is a yellowish looking area of skin. I cant really see it as its so far i cant bend far enough to get a pic nor see it fully clearly. if i have herpes.. how do i tell my boyfriend? we have been together for just about three years.. i dont think he cheated on me, and i certainly have not cheated on him... someone please talk to me, could it be something else or that is the only thing it could be.. i feel so broken right now. i love my boyfriend so much.. and i dont know how this happened. i will try n upload a photo but don't hold me to it m, ive been trying.

u should visit your doctors and have a test done it may not be herpes and something else mabe the cause so try not to worry and nothing sayiny anyone cheated herpes can stay in your body for years dormant so it could be from a previous relationship etc or it may be nothing to do with herpes at all

I did have the doc do a swab.. she did say it did not look like herpes, but took a swab for my peace of mind.

i have a question, Im still awaiting for my results, but wanted to ask a question.. this area of skin is still unchanged, doesnt bother me, or anything.. its been almost a week sense ive notice this area of skin.. it just kinda blends in within my skin. Is that normal for Hsv?

Hi Kim, I have a question.. not sure if you remember this post, but I had this area of skin swabbed, it came back negative for HSV.. however, the area of skin has remained unchanged, doesn't bother me at all.. its been about 28 days sense its was swabbed. is there anything else it could be? is there another doctor or specialist i should be seeking? bc my doc. hasnt done anything to help me all

nope, its still the same.. hasn't changed at all.. only visible when i pull the skin to expose my skin.. ive been keeping an eye on it. is it possible my swab was false negative? my doc said my blood work for Vit. D was very low.. not sure if that has anything to do with anything. im very confused.. wouldn't a swab be the most accurate?
