Someone please help me. Is this herpes. Pictures attached

So today when I got in the shower I noticed this on my groin area where my knickers go, I only noticed it because I was checking down there as I always do before I shower (pain wasn't the reason I noticed it cause I hardly have any pain) at first it just looked like a scratch but I obsess over every little thing so I kept looking at it pulling at my skin and even tried squeezing to see if any puss or anything come out (it didn't) I've looked on Google for pictures of herpes and although the pictures look nothing like mine I can't think of anything this could be. I dabbed it with some tissue and when I took it away there was like a wet mark in the shape of this cut but just clear so not sure if the wet stuff was sweat (sorry tmi) I found it very very difficult to get a picture so I know these aren't great and I apologise for that. I have no itching, it does sting a little to touch but nothing I can't stand, I wouldn't know it was there if I hadn't have seen it, I know you aren't doctors but I'm looking for someone with experience with herpes maybe someone who's had it before to maybe give me a little advice? I've been with the same partner for 3 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters together and I know I haven't cheated and I'm hoping her hasn't either. Please someone give me something, anything cause my mind is doing over time and I'm obsessing and can't stop looking at it xx

    hey, im not a doctor at all but ive been going through the same kind of headaches over thinking issues i recently found. ive looked at every picture and website possible, this DOES NOT appear to be anything serious. theres no red outline and if it was a ulcer caused from herpes im pretty sure itd be painful. i went to three doctors including a planned parenthood and they all told me that if youre having a herpes outbreak, youll know it because youll get the typical blister/blisters. what you got is probably just some abrasion especially if the underwear you wear are tight. keep your mind at ease, worrying will certainly not help. always a good thing to get a doctors evaluation for reassurance and clarity. i hope everything is okay for you.

      Thabk you so much for your reply I see so many posts on here about the same things. I was kinda hoping someone that actually had herpes was going to comment. But thank you so much for your comment x

    looks like a cut tbh with you the only real way to know is to have a test even someone who has herpes wouldnt be able to give u the answers your looking for
