Someone squished my eyes very hard!! Terrified of getting Glaucoma now!!

37F I had a face laser hair removal session yesterday and the technician accidentally squished hard with her hand on my laser safety goggles while doing my upper cheeks... Now for context this was the goggles which are opaque and shaped like swimming goggles.

It was only for about 5-10 seconds and it was really uncomfortable for me too... After that i asked them to pause when they realised they were squishing my eye.. I have headache now and the eye feels like very heavy.... Now i don't know whether this can raise my IOP or damage my nerves. Also till this incident i don't have any other eye condition other than dry eyes and i also get my regular yearly eye checkups. So Should i check with a doctor for elevated IOP or will it go away on its own?

When you say Squishing, do you mean pressing on the goggles? or do you mean the laser passed across your eye/s?

I dont think either of these things would cause glaucoma or affect existing glaucoma. If this feeling in your eye has not passed off in 24 hours or is getting worse then see your optician or eye doctor for an examination. Do this ASAP if your sight is affected.
