hi all. in 30 weeks pregnant and I was worried about cauda equina syndrome as I been having numbness around my vaginal and back passage area. I went to the hospital yesterday and had an mri done. it came back clear. would an mri have shown anything serious or bad ? not just cauda equina.. xo

The MRI is what they use to diagnose that condition. Keep in mind it’s a very rare condition. Sounds like you’ve been checked out properly. and yes an MRI can detect all sorts of conditions and issues because it is so specific and focuses in on the tiniest areas of the body. If it came back clear, please relax. and remember that when you Google symptoms, they rarely give the most common and logical reasons for the symptoms., Of which are not serious. Get busy doing other things so you’re not constantly thinking about this. Do you things that you enjoy. You’re going to be fine
