Something is not right

I've been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea over 5 years ago, when I used to wake up I had a headache every morning, I started using a machine and it stopped, then now around the early part of the year, I don't feel like myself, I feel depressed, forget things, can't complete work assignments, , while at work my head is like a fog like I'm sleep on my feet, sometimes I don't want to be bothered, I don't know what's going on, I need help, I'm going to my doctor

Going to your doctor is clearly the thing to do right now. There could be many causes for your symptoms but given your history, this needs proper investigation.

Maybe you have allergies?  The first months of the year are just  the time. Morning headaches are also a symptom.

Are you a woman? Menopausal?  Or older men? This happens naturally to many people.

Sleep apnea is a strange one, you won't find much advice on here as it is usually specific to the person. Your GP won't be much use either but request a referral to your local hospital (Chest Clinic) and they will be able to look into it for you.

The symptoms your describing, however, are quite similar to the side affects of sleep deprivation. I go through it maybe once a month and have found that changes in my lifestyle (diet, exercise, positivity) have a big effect on it. I recently took 2 weeks off work to sort myself out and it really helped as I was able to establish a good routine. Just the thought of going to work in the state you have described is enough to cause stress and that will further disrupt your sleep.

Try to relax a little, I know it sucks but don't let it rule your life. Join a gym, eat better food, take more pride in your physical appearance... this all helps. It's summer time soon, you got any cash saved up? Get yourself on holiday, take your mind off things. I'm going to Thailand for a month in 5 weeks and I'm travelling alone for the first time. With everything I need to do from looking out for myself, checking in and out of hotels, meeting lots of new people, sleeping is the last thing I'm going to be worried about 😊

    Good luck, my friend.
