Something strange

Hi, I've been dealing with some strange thing for the last couple of days. Ocasionally, I can see some tingling/blinking in my operated eye's peripheral vision. It's an effect like when you rub your eyes and eveything is flickering (but here without rubbing). No flares, just blinking of vision. What could it be? I had an eye check 2 months ago, no issues.

It's mild, occasional and only in the lower section of my field of vision, yet noticable.

Could be the beginnings of PVD (posterior vitreous detachment), which is pretty common as we age. Best to see your ophthalmologist to be on the safe side.

I have the same thing in both eyes. I had cataract surgery on my eyes 2 weeks and 1 week ago. I think mine is related to dry eyes because it is there when I wake up, but when I use over the counter drops for dry eye it goes away.
