How true this is.  I tend to feel a failure some days  and it's only when you see something like your attachment,  that you realise that you must have some strength and determination to attempt to carry on pushing.

    Thanks Magpie. x

That is so true Magpie.  Back 16 years ago I started having such bad panic attacks that I couldn't go out the house.  I joined a group called Walk Free and they gave me back my confidence. I knew at that time  it was only me that could take that first step to get my life back to some sort of normality. It was hard and took me nearly 2 years to feel comfortable about shopping, having holidays and just everyday living.   I did it not just for myself but for my family who were worried sick about me.    Having Fibro for the last 3 years has been hard but I say to myself you are brave and strong you have done this before you can do it again.

I always enjoy reading you wise comments I love the way you express yourself.  Thank you for being so understanding and helpful on your posts.  Have a lovely Christmas     Sue   xx

Thanks for your lovely replies girls! Yes we are some of the most compassionate and self deprecating people. We expect so much of ourselves and never give ourselves credit for all that we have accomplished and survived through some of the most difficult challenges. I admire all of you brave women! Never think that you cannot get through anything! Just look back and see what you have already overcome! Of course you will get discouraged and down hearted at times, since we have had a long struggle. But remember the little blessings girls! And we all have them. These are troubled times and many have lost trust in humanity. But there are millions of kind souls out there. Remember that. My belief that God has a plan and will intervene soon has given me strength and hope. Just remember to take stalk of your thinking which produces emotions. Negative emotions absolutely sap our energy. It is a real factor in our pain and stress. So learning to modify our negative thinking can really make the difference. I used an amazing method that is so simple but it works! Take a sheet of paper and draw a line down the centre. On the right column write out all your negative and automatic thoughts. Then in the left column write a solution as if you were speaking to a beloved friend. Now it has to be a truthful solution. Such as, 'I am such a loser', Then reasoning with you as a friend. 'You are certainly Not a loser. Many love and admire you for your qualities......etc." We tend to catastophize our thinking about situations and ourselves. This is such a simple technique to put our thoughts in order and learn to be more rational and kinder to ourselves. Try it. It really works. Never despair. Statistics have shown that 80% of what we worry about, never happens! 80%! And even if we face trying circumstances as we all do at times, you know that you can overcome this obstacle. Look at all that you have done already! Warm gentle hugs to you lovely ladies! Maggie xxx
