Son Serious Injury: multiple fractures. What to expect?

My son was in a serious accident on 10/12/2019. He was driving, when someone cut him off, he slammed on his breaks, was rear ended and rolled into a ditch. He is lucky to be alive. He suffered a fractured neck, both the tibia, and fibia in both legs, and his left wrist. He luckily didn't need surgery on his neck and will just have to wear a neck brace for 6 weeks. But his leg he had to get pins as they were broken in 4 places on his left leg and 3 places on his right. He is recovering well. By Monday he'll be going home. The doctors haven't provided much information on what to expect when he gets home. Any advice is appreciated.

sorry that this happened to your son.

How old is he? Does he live with you or on his own? stairs or do you have a room on the main floor?

The surgeon have not say anything to you of the care he will need?
