My son had sonic therapy on a foot problem caused by climbing ladders. It was something to do with a tendon that runs alons the bottom of his foot. I seem to remember it helped. Sorry I can't be more helpful but it was a long time ago.

I Have been doing squats, excercise bike, walking, steps.
But the pain gets worse. Back at work, but resting more then exercise at moment.
Not too worried, so thankful to everyone on here, as it seems we all suffer from the same things, it gives you peace of mind.
thank you for you comments.

I knw what you are talking about - I had the same and my surgeon told me I have trochandric bursitis - Goodness, nasty huh!!! I had to stop using the stationary bike as well - apparently not so good for this (and I was so proud that I managed 3 x 15 minutes per day - albeit with terrible pain)-
I am seeing a physical therapist right now and she is using this kind of therapy on me - She told me honestly that she is not sure if it will help - Apparently there is not much they can do about it, but decrease activity for a couple of days - then go back to gentle exercises and walking -
She explained it to me and I wish I could explain it to you - but unfortunately, it didn;t stick - SOmething to do with big muscles that are tilting pelvic forward and backwards - during this whole process, our pelvis was way off balance - now we start walking again, more with straight back etc.
It seems to feel better - She also used dry needling ... acupuncture needles she sticks in (superficially) tight muscle to release pressure -
Go for it - It will help that muscle relax -
It is on a timer, so no worries about overheating ....
Good luck and let us know how it went, okay
big warm hug
