Sore bowels for a while scared

hi I am 17 and been suffering for sore bowels and constipation for a while.  I was on a coach and kept coughing and ended up with a massive lump on my left side. The doctor gave me fybogel to help me do the toilet but I'm constantly sore.

    Hi. Is fybogel a fiber supplement?? Im from usa meds have diff names. Where is your lump? Did it hurt when the buldge happened?? Vomiting or nausea? Any blood/mucus in bm?

      It was really sore if im honest. i just get nervous incase its bowel cancer because at times i get alot of grumbly bowel movements. My doctor says its not but i just get really scared. Ive had some mucus no blood

      I have mucus sometimes and no blood. I think u have ibs-c. My problem is much more severe. I have very little contractions and little propulsion in my lg colon and maybe even a little of my small intestine. I have no diagnosis yet.

      Im learning alot tho. I have a feeling im gonna have to have my colon out and part of my small intestine. Im going to Yale University hospital to b studied and diagnosed. Feb 4th is my first apointment with a gi motility specialist.

      I hope your okay...i get scared as im in pain alot even now.i honestly hope its nothing serious as im 17 and dont want to die of anything young...

      When i was younger i starved alot due to depression and bullying so i dont know if ive messed my system up but im terrified and my doctors wont and havent done anyrhing apart from giving me fybrogel

    I wouldnt take the fiber unless you feel it helps. Usually when ur constipated it is a bad idea. It moves too slow through gi and turns to concrete.

    Im terrified bcuz docs are not sure whats wrong. They dont think its cancer tho so they are taking there sweet ass time. I have to take several laxatives to go to the bathroom and that barely works. Im always calling gi doc on call and going in ambulances with lights and sirens to hospital basically to just go to the bathroom. Idk. Btw I was bullied in school and now suffer from ptsd.

      Im just so worried tonight i cant sleep as im so sore and my stool wont shift feel like rubbish my doctors dont do anyrhing sad so scared

    I would stop that fiber im telling you. I would get try milk of magnesia. Plz try it. You will feel much better and if that doesnt satisfy you drink a bottle of magnesium citrate witha glass of water. I promise it will work. No cramping.

    If you still feel a lump though you should go to the Emergency Room. Dont mess with that. Its what they are there for!

      The lump is gone just hurts. My time of month came back today and the pain is even sorer so have an appointment with my doctor on Friday.mi have being so sore I'm 17 there's so much I want to do but I'm just sore cry

      Im 29. Friday i meet with a colorectal surgeon. Im scared too. Ever since saturday i have to use a 100g of miralax or in UK 100g of movicol.
