Use coconut oil! I use it every time i have a flair up with any pain and it takes care of it in anywhere from 1 to 3 days!

brenda, how long have you been using the clobetasol? If you use too much steroid you can have that kind of reaction. Were you having that symptom from the LS before using the clob?

Is it possible you recently used too much? Try not using it all . I would apply cool compresses. Might be better than putting on more stuff if the skin is irritated. I reacted to the steroid ointment the one time I used a tiny bit extra. I stopped using it for about 5 days and it went away.

Nine months on clob sounds like over use... I agree with Beverly, stop awhile and let the skin rest.

Even if you don't have hemroides, hemroid cream rubbed on the outside, takes soreness away.

Hi Brenda,
I feel for you, really I do. Have you tried Vitamin A and D cream or coconut oil? There's also EmuAid and Cetaphil lotion. Some people like Alpha Keri lotion but I don't see it any more. I don't think vinegar would be good because that's acetic acid. But, maybe. OTC anti-anxiety meds? Do you have a heath food store nearby? Have you tried pure aloe?
