I I thought I was the only one, I feel that my chest muscles are perpetually tight for some reason and I do get pain behind my nipples it feels like sometimes. I would describe my pain as a dull burning sensation. does this sound familiar?

      Hi Matt,

No mine is more the occasional soreness when i touch my nipple, almost like they are more sensitive than normal if that makes sense

I do get a burning sensation in other places though such as my neck and arm and the skin on my upper back near the shoulder blades often feels sore. Do you ever get that?

in re evaluation my pain, I would say that yes nipples and chest are tender to the touch not so much burning. when I first started citalopram I used to get hot flashes and burning from head to toe, that was some very concerning stuff! then my dr. reduced my dose from 20 mg to 10 mg and things subsided. now I am back up to 20 and in addition to the chest tenderness I am having sinusitis type symptoms that are mild but don't seem to be going away. I swear, it's almost like the side effects are worse than the original reason for going on the medication. hope that helps, keep me posted on how things are going!
