Sore small bump on back of neck. Does it look cancerous?

got this sore bump on the back of my neck. its not that painful but worried it could potentially be cancerous and its hard to see doctors at the moment. any opinions or advice would be appreciated. image

    you might ask that question online. there will be examples of various non and cancerous lesions.

    it looks ok to me but I am not a doctor and you can send a pic to your doc and get peace of mind.

      thank you for the reply. im going to wait a few days and see it it clears up. failing that i will email my gp.

    It may be something simple like an infected cyst or infected, possibly ingrowing hair, follicles. Have you been picking at it?.

    Try an anti fungal shampoo working it into the area well and leave on for a few minutes. If you have a small soft brush then use that to work into the area.At night , rub a little vaseline into the area. Try to do these 2 things every day and it may help to shift the problem. Please dont pick ...it will make it worse.

    If it makes no difference then you need to see your doctor or dermatologist. Can you phone them or possibly send them a pic as you have done here?

    how do you always get cancer with a small skinlesion?
