sore throat before op

I am having gastric bypass surgery tomorrow and i stil have a very sore throat and yesterday i had a temperature but i am ok now apart from sore throat i feel fine in myself will it affect surgery?

your best bet is to telephone the hospital and ask.

I think as long as you are 'well' e.g no temperature or coughing etc!
You should be fine!
I had tonsil stones and still had the surgery! The nurse knew but no1 actually looked down my throat! Hehe x

  Awww they told me same, i feel fine in myself and i only cough every so often but i havent got wat ya wud call a cold, am hopin am ok i think i just worry too much lol xx
