Sore throat for over a year. Solutions?

Hello, so around 2018 in December I was suffering from chronic sore throats. Doctors ENT gave me serveral Antibiotics and GERD tablets and they have never worked. They found one tonsil was bigger that my other, so I had a tonsilectomy in April 2018. However a month after my recovery I was starting to feel this weird sore throat like feeling in my thoat. I can drink and eat. But when I eat solid foods I can feel something scraping at the back of my throat. Due to this, alot of the times I do not feeling like speaking or going out because of the discomfort I am experiencing. Because of this I'm starting to feel very down and depressed because I have a feeling the doctor wont find anything and say its in my head. Will I have to live with this for the rest of my life? This has been an ongoing issue for just over 1year. I just want to be normal..

I do/did have an ENT appointment but go cancelled to due covid19...

3+Years? Oh god.. Well for the time being ive been using these Strepsil Throat Spray. You can buy them from Amazon. What I try to do is spray it right at the back of my throat as far as I can. It's does help sooth the uncomfortableness but the effect only lasts around 1-2hrs. I've heard on the other forum where this one person found out it was Vitamin D deficiency. And another person found it was these scent sprayers they use around the house to make it smell nice therefore irritated their throat.

Does speaking cause the pain to occur? I ask as you said you're not wanting to speak because of it.

I've had a similar issue for 2 and half years, had my lingual tonsils remove which didn't help, I've had my normal tonsils out about 10 years ago but on one side its started to grow back, on this side I have burning pains when I speak which are the pains I've had for 2 and half years

Well speaking doesn't cause the pain neccasarily. It's just the fact that due to the sore feeling in my throat I feel uncomfortable to speak at time. However many times I do feel some sort of tiredness with my sore thoat. When ever I take a random nap in the middle of the day and wake up, my "sore throat" vanishes for like 30 mins. If I could point where this discomfort is coming from, it would be just above my adams apple. Thyroid Membrane I think they call it?

Hi, I just how you are getting on now, I have had a similar thing since September 2019, I went to ENT back in January who couldn't find anything wrong so I'm just kind of left to worry about it. Do you have any burning sensations at all Have you any solutions. Any info would be great, thanks.
