Sores around vagina. HELP!

Posted , 6 users are following.

I've been having getting painful sores around the lips/flaps of my vagina only a few times in the past year. They are irritating and the skin around is constantly itchy and painful, just like the sore. It looks like the size of a pea and it hurts whenever I move.

I'm only fifteen years old and haven't had sex, but I have no idea what it could be. I'm scared about going and getting it checked out because it just seems a little too personal, if you get what I mean. I am just in pain from these things popping up and really scared about what they could be.

HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT THIS IS AND IF I HAVE TO SEE A DOCTOR, because I really don't want too!

Hey Molly, can I ask a personal question? I know you say you have never had sex but have you ever had oral sex? Has a guy ever kissed you on your vagina? Also, could you attach a picture so I can see what they look like?

No, I haven't ever done anything like that. And I don't know how to attach a picture and I don't feel comfortable doing so.

That's totally fine, I understand that! Ok well if you have never had sex or had any type of oral sex then it can't be an STD unless your mum has herpes? That's something you may not know. I would advise you to go and awe your GP, I know it's embarrassing for yoy but it doesn't sound right thst you have these sores around your vagina, if you see the doc they will be able to examine it and find out what it is and what's causing it. Good luck with everything.

I've done some more research since i got this message because this is really freaking me up this time around. I have come to the conclusion that its most likely a Bartolin's cyst. I don't know whether or not I should have an appointment, but it's scaring me heaps just thinking about getting it checked out. I don't know what to do.

If it's happening a few times it could be boils they can turn up in most places on your skin they are red and sore, if you have acne this can be it too some people sadly are prone to boils, as I say talk to your doctor they have seen it all before x
