Hi Alison I dont know if its just because i feel so miserable but yes i find that i zone out a lot. Ill be in the middle of something and fond myself just staring into space thinking of random things, if thats what you mean. I dont even know if im in peri, im just assuming because im 48. I do still get a period, my mother is no longer here but my sister did say that she was in her 40's when she started menopause.

Hi Alison. this is exactly how I am feeling today, not quite with it. Dizzy; head spiny feeling. Then I am ok for a few days/weeks then it hits me again. I am ( I believe) post menopausal. I have not had a period for around 4 years.

it is definitely not just you. Most of the ladies here describe it differently but i think its all the same thing. Sometimes mine is lime I'm suddenly sleepy, sometimes i feel like the room suddenly moves, and then there are days when i just feel spaced out, cant concentrate. Scary. then it all disappears for a week or a month or more. i notice it happens when I'm also experiencing other meno symptoms.

Yes.. I feel spacey often. Even when I'm out with others I feel slow and out of it.
